Dana has been teaching both vinyasa and power yoga classes since 2018, but her love for yoga goes much further back than that. She attended classes with her mom on and off throughout her childhood, but really fell in love with it when living in NYC and needing to find respite from the fast paced lifestyle. She did her first 200 hour Vinyasa teacher training in Costa Rica in 2017, followed by another 200 hours of Power Yoga training at Karma Yoga SF in 2018.
Dana loves to teach a strong, sweaty, fiery class with unique transitions and a creative flow. She loves challenging her students, putting an emphasis on strength and alignment, and using the physical practice to calm the mind. Her wish is for her students to discover new and unique ways of movement while uncovering their inner strength and power. She stands by the simple phrase: If it doesn’t challenge you, it won’t change you.
