Rachel's loving presence, humility and warm heart will have you smiling on your mat as you breathe and connect to your own inner light. Her vinyasa classes flow using movement, breath and music to create space for challenging poses and inner calm. She hopes to help her students drop into their bodies through their breath as she leads them through the asanas to a deep Shavasana. Rachel lived in Varanasi, India for a year where she studied yoga, Hindi, Sanskrit, Buddhism and Fine Art painting. During her 15 year career in fashion design, yoga continually called her back to her mat to connect to her body and her own light through breath and movement. Rachel has completed a 700 hours of teacher training in the Jivamukti and Ashtanga Traditions. She feels blessed to have this ancient practice of yoga in the modern world and is grateful to her students and her teachers.
