This class series meets Wednesdays from 3:00-3:45pm from January 24 - April 3 (skip Feb. 21 for mid-winter break).
With an emphasis on body awareness and silliness, this class will promote thoughtful and reflexive yoga to provide both physical and mental well-being. Kids will have the opportunity to learn funny names of different poses (downward dog??? cow?!) and get creative with their own interpretation of symbology. There are no wrong poses and all children are welcome to explore and build an early, positive definition of what yoga means to them. Yoga and mindfulness have been shown to improve both physical and mental health in school-age children by enhancing focus, memory, self-esteem, academic performance, and classroom behavior, and can even reduce anxiety and stress in children. In this series, your little one will have countless opportunities to discover shapes, explore balance and the celebrate the body's incredible abilities.
This class is designed for ages 4-6. Class size is limited.
Parents welcome to stay and watch or drop off.

Perk: Up to one missed kids yoga session may be issued as a class credit for a regular adult yoga class for the parent or caregiver!
