Join John Berlinsky and Erin Stewart for a special afternoon of restorative yoga followed by savasana with acupuncture for deep relaxation and restoration.
In Traditional Chinese Medicine, Fall is the season of releasing. Our ability to let go allows us to celebrate and embrace the present moment. When we have trouble releasing, we can experience grief, sadness and fatigue that does not seem to pass. On a physical level, the inability to let go can hinder the gastrointestinal and respiratory systems.
The Lung and Large Intestine meridians come alive during Fall. They are responsible for the healthy processing of grief and sadness, so that we may more fully embrace the present moment. Balancing these meridians can help gently release stuck feelings of grief and sadness, and impart a sense of presence, vitality and peace.
We will spend time moving through restorative postures (45 minutes) followed by an extended savasana (45 minutes) with acupuncture points that have been selected to rebalance and stimulate the body’s vital energy.
Cost: $55 (10% off for Metta Yoga members applies automatically at checkout)
