This holiday season, join Marianne Whitfield at Corte Madera for an offering that invites women to explore their grief through the transformative power of poetry and movement.
Poetry, with its ability to distill complex emotions into concise and powerful expressions, offers a gentle yet profound way to navigate the depths of loss. In this circle, we’ll use yoga to ground and open our bodies, creating space for reflection and healing.
Through guided writing prompts, shared readings, breath and voice practices, participants will have the opportunity to express their grief, honor their loved ones, and connect with others in a supportive community.
Participants are encouraged to bring a journal or notebook to write in, and a personal object to help ground our circle. (For example, a crystal, photo, or other trinket of remembering)
No prior experience with poetry or yoga is needed—just an open heart and a willingness to flow with what arises.
Cost: $40 (10% off for Metta Yoga members applies automatically at checkout)
